Hooray of the Day: According to Marty Day of Blast-O-Rama.com, The State DVD (due out July 14) includes a trailer confirming the release of the long-awaited Daria DVD in 2010.
Day says:
Popped in the first disc, and wouldn’t you know it, the DVD starts with an ad promoting Daria hitting DVD in 2010. I guess they’re following one ‘couldn’t be done’ release with another!

if i believed in a god, i would be thanking him mercifully right now.
of course, i already spent forever and a decade downloading every episode + all movies to my pc so i could transfer it to disc and drag it to college. after doing all that, i discovered a website that hosted them all; a big ‘fml’ to me.
good news: no more waiting for it to load on crap dorm internet connection once i can waste money on this. and every single season, plus the movies, better damn well be in one set - one CHEAP set - because i’m broke and can’t afford to buy multiple packages.
summary: this should have been done 5+ years ago; i’m ecstatic.
